Executive Secretary (Deputy CEO)

About the role

The Executive Secretary will support the Deputy CEO of Global Bank Ethiopia, ensuring smooth administrative operations at the Head Office. This position handles confidential information, coordinates the executive’s schedule, and serves as a key liaison between senior management and internal or external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Deputy CEO’s calendar, arrange meetings, and prepare agendas.
• Draft, edit, and file correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for domestic and international trips.
• Facilitate communication between the Deputy CEO and various departments, clients, and partners.
• Assist in the preparation of board materials and follow‑up on action items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Science, Office Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant secretarial or executive support experience.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
