Financial Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Specialist to support a global technology leader on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will manage core financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and help maintain compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to guarantee data accuracy.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly and in line with policy.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare internal financial reports and regulatory statements.
• Monitor financial controls and suggest improvements for efficiency and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards is a plus.
