Head of Raw Material & Product Stock Section

About the role

Abem Industries is seeking a senior professional to lead its Raw Material and Product Stock Section. The role ensures that raw material and finished‑goods inventories are aligned with production schedules and sales forecasts, supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, receive, store, issue, and reconcile raw material and finished product inventories.
• Coordinate daily with procurement, production, and sales teams to balance stock levels.
• Monitor stock movements, generate and review inventory reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and optimise warehouse space.
• Enforce safety and quality standards within the storage area.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for stock‑control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supplies Management, Materials Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory, materials, or warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams (procurement, production, finance, sales).
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Experience using ERP software.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Familiarity with automated inventory tools.
