HR Manager

About the role

OLY Technologies is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human‑resources functions, act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, and ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, job postings, interviewing and onboarding of new staff.
• Manage employee relations, address concerns, mediate conflicts and promote inclusion.
• Develop, implement and enforce HR policies aligned with organizational goals and local regulations.
• Oversee performance appraisal processes and support managers in goal setting.
• Identify training needs, organise development programmes and encourage continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, workplace safety standards and other legal requirements.
• Collaborate with finance to administer payroll and employee benefits.
• Track and analyse HR metrics to inform decision‑making and report workforce trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in an HR management role, preferably in a fast‑growing company.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labour legislation, compliance standards and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
