HR Officer – Paints and Coatings

About the role

People First Consult is recruiting an HR Officer on behalf of a confidential client, a leading international manufacturer of paints and coatings present in over 100 countries. The role supports day-to-day HR operations such as recruitment, employee records, onboarding and staff administration, while helping ensure effective HR processes and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and onboarding, including job posting, candidate screening, interviews and employee induction
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential employee records and HR documentation
• Administer attendance, leave, payroll inputs and employee benefits
• Support employee relations by answering HR queries and assisting with disciplinary and grievance matters
• Coordinate performance management, training and employee development programs
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies and HR reporting requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of related experience within a multinational organization
• Ability to act independently, build a useful network of contacts and use informal organizational dynamics to get things done
• Specialist knowledge in the area, with a commitment to continuous professional development
• Clear, structured communication and effective presentation
