Human Resources Manager

About the role

Hill Bottom Properties is seeking a full‑time Human Resources Manager to lead the employee lifecycle for its luxury residential projects in Addis Ababa. The role is on‑site and focuses on building a high‑performing, inclusive workforce that supports the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Ethiopian labour law.
• Maintain accurate HR records, coordinate payroll and benefits with Finance.
• Provide staffing support to managers and resolve employee queries and conflicts.
• Design and deliver training and development programmes.
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and HR reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, interviewing and onboarding.
• Strong background in employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution.
• Experience creating HR policies and ensuring legal compliance.
• Proficiency in HR administration, record keeping and payroll coordination.
• Ability to plan and deliver training and manage change initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and local languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications a plus.
• Prior senior HR management or senior HR generalist experience, preferably in real‑estate or property development.
