Information Management Intern

About the role

3iS, an international non-profit supporting humanitarian and development actors in Ethiopia, is looking for an Information Management Intern. The role offers hands-on experience in managing, visualising and reporting data that inform programme decisions across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean and consolidate data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support the design, maintenance and updating of databases, spreadsheets and other data-management tools.
• Create visualisations, dashboards and regular reports that translate data into actionable insights for field teams and partners.
• Assist the IM team in developing templates and tools that improve evidence-based decision-making.
• Participate in data quality checks and contribute to documentation of data processes.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme related to information management, statistics, geography, public health, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, humanitarian environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
