Knowledge Management Specialist

About the role

The Knowledge Management Specialist will support the America First Global Health Strategy (AFGHS-MSH) and Supply Chain Strengthening (SCS) projects by capturing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge, evidence, and best practices to improve program performance and evidence‑informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain knowledge repositories, SharePoint sites, OneDrive libraries, OpenProject workspaces and other platforms, ensuring assets are curated, archived and accessible.
• Facilitate bi‑monthly learning sessions, after‑action reviews, and knowledge‑exchange events, tracking implementation of learning and adaptation actions.
• Produce and update learning notes, lessons‑learned documents, case studies, technical summaries and other knowledge products for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate dissemination of knowledge products through webinars, communities of practice, digital platforms and conference submissions.
• Support capacity‑building initiatives on knowledge management, organizational learning and evidence use for staff, government counterparts and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Public Health, International Development or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in knowledge management, organizational learning, monitoring & evaluation or communications, preferably in public‑health or supply‑chain projects.
• Strong writing, facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with fluency in English and Amharic.
