Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our automated systems and equipment in Addis Ababa. You will lead preventative and corrective maintenance activities, identify improvement opportunities, and help minimise downtime across our industrial production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute regular preventative maintenance tasks for machines, electrical systems and automated controls.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot faults and perform corrective repairs.
• Assist with system upgrades and optimisations while ensuring minimal disruption.
• Provide technical support and training to operations teams on equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams, maintain accurate maintenance records and report on system reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in industrial automation or control systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, electrical/electronic components and automation equipment.
