Medical Consultant – Clinical Education & Research

About the role

Eagle Scholars is seeking a full‑time Medical Consultant to join its team in Debre Tabor. The role focuses on delivering expert clinical guidance, developing educational resources, and contributing to research insights that support students and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical advice and support to physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop, review, and update medical education materials, case summaries, and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accuracy and relevance of medical content.
• Guide learners in clinical decision‑making and best practices in patient care.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and consulting activities that promote clinical excellence.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with appropriate clinical licensure or certification.
• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Emergency Medicine, with ability to apply evidence‑based guidelines.
• Experience working with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a consulting capacity.
• Background in training, mentoring, or teaching medical students and healthcare professionals.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and improving access to quality medical education.
