Medical Information Specialist – Dutch Speaker (Belgium/France)

About the role

The Medical Information Department is seeking a dedicated Medical Information Specialist who is fluent in Dutch and French to support health‑care professionals and consumers in Belgium and France. Working under the supervision of a Medical Information Pharmacist, you will handle first‑line inquiries and ensure accurate, compliant communication.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to medical, pharmaceutical and consumer information requests in the first line, with support from a Medical Information Pharmacist.
• Detect vigilance cases, document them, and forward to second‑line teams as required.
• Record and manage cases on paper or computer in both French and Dutch.
• Restore managed calls using the designated ad‑hoc tool.
• Draft written responses to health professionals and forward them to the appropriate person.
• Perform quality control on telephone call reports according to the current decision tree.
• Receive, file, and acknowledge receipt of documents from client laboratories.
• Maintain IT sub‑units and ensure data integrity.
• Report files to client laboratories when necessary.
• Participate in telephone permanence according to scheduled days and hours.
• Contribute to the drafting of procedures, operating methods and agreements related to the activity.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sciences, a degree, master’s or pharmacist qualification.
• Fluent in both French and Dutch.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
