Operations and Logistics Support Officer – Ethiopia

About the role

The Operations and Logistics Support Officer will provide essential program support for the REACH Malaria initiative in Ethiopia. Working closely with the PATH Ethiopia logistics team, the officer will coordinate transportation, workshops, meetings, and field travel while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation arrangements for staff, goods, and equipment, and manage fuel advance requests and vehicle reports.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.
• Track and update project stock records, asset registers, and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Assist in planning and executing operational activities, including office administration, field site support, and workshop logistics.
• Support procurement by sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase requests and orders, and following up on deliveries.
• Compile training payment documents and maintain complete procurement files.
• Prepare periodic logistics and operations reports and monitor performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in logistics, procurement, operations or supply chain management.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
