Physiotherapist – Hospital Clinical Role

About the role

Teklehaimanot General Hospital is seeking a full‑time Physiotherapist to join its multidisciplinary team in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will assess patients with diverse musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions to enhance mobility and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy programs.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain timely records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in case discussions.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, rehabilitation strategies, and injury‑prevention techniques.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and support orientation of new staff as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional license or registration in Ethiopia.
• Ability to work full‑time on site with flexible scheduling to meet patient needs.
• Strong clinical judgment, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail.
