Project Coordinator, Field Support Services Project (FSSP) Ethiopia

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Field Support Services Project (FSSP) in Ethiopia, ensuring smooth delivery of technical, administrative, financial, and logistical services that underpin Canada’s international assistance programmes. This part‑time position reports to the Project Manager for Ethiopia and South Sudan and works closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source human resources or contractors to provide technical expertise.
• Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, status reports, and correspondence in both manual and electronic formats.
• Assist in planning, analyzing, evaluating, and prioritising project deliverables and requirements.
• Research background information, extract relevant data, and prepare concise summaries.
• Engage with stakeholders, resolve issues promptly, and facilitate effective communication.
• Coordinate logistical arrangements, including mission planning, local transportation, travel bookings, flights, and accommodation.
• Support project reviews, capture lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in project coordination or administration within international development or NGOs.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
