About the role

Nutrition International is seeking a Project Director to lead the Double Fortified Salt with Iron and Folic Acid (DFS‑IoFA) project in Ethiopia. The role provides overall leadership, day‑to‑day planning, implementation, and tracking of project deliverables over a two‑year contract.

Key responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and overall accountability for the DFS‑IoFA project in Ethiopia.
Oversee day‑to‑day planning, implementation, and progress tracking to ensure targets are met.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, donors, research bodies, the private sector, and NGOs.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement, ensure quality assurance, integrate gender equality and safeguarding, and promote innovation.
Strengthen monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems, leverage data for continuous improvement, and deliver timely performance reports.
