Recruitment Specialist

About the role

Prasino Construction Materials Import PLC is seeking a full‑time Recruitment Specialist to join its HR team in Addis Ababa. You will lead end‑to‑end hiring processes, ensuring the company attracts and secures top talent for its construction‑materials business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs across all departments and create accurate job postings.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and other channels.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews and provide hiring recommendations to managers.
• Coordinate interview schedules and maintain clear communication with candidates.
• Oversee onboarding activities, ensuring new hires complete paperwork and receive orientation.
• Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Ethiopian labor regulations.
• Support employer branding initiatives to promote Prasino as an employer of choice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing full‑cycle recruitment processes.
• Strong interviewing and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Familiarity with basic HR practices, labor law concepts and recruitment/HR information systems.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and local languages.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing or related industries is an advantage.
