Remote Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere while supporting financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit activities for an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (income, sales, payroll) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.

Required profile

• CPA or CA certification.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
