Remote Financial Expert – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Financial Expert on a contract basis to provide financial guidance and support for a global leader in the software development industry. The role focuses on analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance to help optimise business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial, variance, and trend analysis to identify business drivers and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow statements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Conduct financial due diligence and risk assessments for new initiatives or partnerships.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial close processes and month‑end reconciliations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret financial data and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
