Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

Debark University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and is committed to research, innovation and community engagement. The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time hybrid position based in Debark, combining on-site and work-from-home duties. The specialist designs and runs marketing campaigns for academic programmes and services, manages outreach and supports student recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote academic programmes and services
• Manage outreach initiatives and support student recruitment
• Conduct market research and develop promotional materials
• Coordinate events and information sessions
• Maintain relationships with prospective students and partners
• Collaborate with academic departments to align marketing with institutional goals
• Track campaign performance and prepare reports and presentations
• Train and guide staff on outreach activities so that messaging and service quality are consistent

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrated sales and sales management ability to drive recruitment targets and manage the enrollment pipeline
• Experience in training, especially guiding teams on outreach, marketing processes and service standards
• Background in marketing, business development or educational services; familiarity with higher education is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage several projects and adapt to a hybrid arrangement
