Sales Employee

About the role

This full-time sales position is based in Addis Ababa with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some remote work. You will identify and prospect potential small business clients, present Madebirr’s platform, and guide new customers through onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships and follow up on leads.
• Prepare proposals and achieve sales targets.
• Communicate regularly with business owners and coordinate with internal teams for smooth implementation.
• Provide feedback to improve sales strategies and customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Customer relationship and account management experience, especially with small business clients.
• Basic understanding of digital platforms, e‑commerce, and online marketing concepts.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
