Sales Team Leader

About the role

The Sales Team Leader will supervise a team of Sales Representatives, driving performance to meet branch and company sales targets. This role bridges management and the sales force, providing leadership, coaching, and operational support while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of sales plans aligned with branch objectives.
• Translate branch targets into individual goals, allocate leads, territories and accounts.
• Monitor daily sales activities, maintain pipeline development, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team, conduct regular meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
• Handle escalated customer issues, participate in negotiations and assist in closing complex deals.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports, track KPIs and provide insights to the Branch Sales Manager.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify new sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Advertising & Promotion, and Operations teams to support campaigns and lead follow‑up.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and coaching sales teams.
• Strong ability to monitor performance using KPIs and provide actionable feedback.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Analytical mindset to track sales data and identify improvement opportunities.
