Salesperson – Customer Relations & Lead Generation

About the role
The Salesperson will work on‑site in Addis Ababa, representing Ethio Telecom’s portfolio of communication, digital and financial services. You will be responsible for attracting new customers, promoting the company’s offerings and nurturing lasting relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential customers across residential and business segments.
- Promote products and services, process sales transactions and ensure accurate documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team goals.
- Proactively seek new sales opportunities and generate leads.
- Collect customer feedback to help improve the product portfolio.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and report insights to management.
Required profile
- Strong sales, customer relationship management and lead‑generation abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Basic familiarity with digital tools and financial service products.
- Organised, target‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Amharic; additional local languages are a plus.
- Previous experience in sales or telecommunications preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in Business, Marketing or related fields is advantageous.
