About the role
The European Union Delegation to the African Union in Addis Ababa seeks a Secretary (Local Agent) to provide organisational and secretarial support within the Administrative Section.
Key responsibilities
- Overall organisational and secretarial assistance, including calendar management and filing of reports and documents.
- Logistical support for meetings, events and missions, and liaison with external stakeholders.
- Maintain inventory of stationery, furniture and assets, and assist the Head of Administration as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of proven experience as a secretary/assistant.
- Advanced English (C2) and fluency in Amharic.
- High school leaving certificate; ICT proficiency; Ethiopian nationality or valid work authorization.
Required skills
- Proficiency in ICT tools.
- Experience with document management systems.
