Senior Corridor Management Authority Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Corridor Management Authority Expert to support the EU‑funded Technical Assistance to ECOWAS in Transport Governance. The role will focus on establishing and operationalising Corridor Management Authorities (CMAs) across West African transport corridors, strengthening governance, coordination and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Support the establishment and operationalisation of CMAs for regional transport corridors.
• Provide technical assistance on corridor governance frameworks, institutional arrangements and SOPs.
• Develop mandates, governance structures, coordination protocols and performance monitoring tools.
• Facilitate coordination among ECOWAS institutions, national authorities, stakeholders and development partners.
• Advise on multimodal connectivity, logistics coordination and transport facilitation initiatives.
• Lead stakeholder consultations, inter‑agency mechanisms and regional policy dialogue.
• Prepare technical reports, operational frameworks, governance assessments and strategic recommendations.
• Deliver capacity‑building workshops and technical training on corridor management and transport governance.
• Contribute to monitoring, reporting and evaluation of corridor governance activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in transport planning, logistics, public administration, infrastructure management, economics or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in corridor management, transport governance or regional infrastructure coordination.
• At least 7 years of experience specifically in corridor governance, transport facilitation or institutional coordination.
• Proven experience on transport or regional integration projects in developing countries, preferably Sub‑Saharan Africa.
• Experience with international development cooperation and donor‑funded programmes.
