Technical Training Instructor

About the role

The Technical Training Instructor designs, develops, and delivers technical training programs for employees, technicians, dealers, and customers. The role ensures participants acquire the knowledge and hands‑on skills needed to safely operate, maintain, diagnose, and service a range of equipment and machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver classroom and hands‑on training sessions on equipment operation, maintenance, diagnostics and safety.
• Create training materials, presentations, manuals and practical exercises.
• Assess trainee knowledge through tests, evaluations and practical demonstrations.
• Update training content to incorporate new products, technologies and service procedures.
• Support new product launches by providing targeted technical training.
• Coordinate attendance of manufacturer‑led training programs and ensure required certifications are achieved.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications and produce training reports.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Service, Parts and Sales teams to identify training needs and improve product knowledge.
• Ensure all training complies with company policies and safety standards.
• Provide technical assistance and coaching to trainees as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in technical training, equipment maintenance or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of equipment and machinery operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to deliver both classroom and practical hands‑on training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical training tools.
• Willingness to travel to branches, customer sites and dealer locations.
