Technical Training Manager

About the role

The Technical Training Manager will support plant performance by designing, coordinating, delivering, and managing performance‑based technical training programs. Working closely with operational leaders, HR, and subject‑matter experts, you will enhance workforce capability and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate technical training programs across the plant.
• Update and maintain training materials to ensure relevance, consistency, and accuracy.
• Prepare outlines, lesson plans, manuals, presentations, and hands‑on learning resources.
• Identify training needs in partnership with leadership teams and align them with business objectives.
• Collaborate with HR, line managers, and experts to develop and implement best‑practice training initiatives.
• Support onboarding and integration of new employees into technical training pathways.
• Utilize e‑learning platforms and virtual training tools to deliver modern instruction.
• Maintain training schedules, records, and learning calendars.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training and support continuous process‑improvement projects.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance analysis, recommending improvements as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• At least 1 year experience facilitating on‑the‑job or technical training programs.
• Strong understanding of technical training methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
