About the role
Mota-Engil is looking for a Tireman to support mining operations in the Benishangul‑Gumuz region. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, repairing and replacing tyres on heavy mobile mining equipment to ensure safety and equipment availability.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, replace and maintain tyres on heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Monitor tyre condition, wear and pressure levels and keep accurate maintenance records.
- Perform tyre fitting, removal and servicing activities safely using appropriate tools.
- Participate in SHEQ inspections, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
Required profile
- Technical Certificate, TVET qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in tyre maintenance within mining, construction, transport or industrial settings.
- Strong safety awareness, attention to detail and reliable problem‑solving ability.
Required skills
- Tyre inspection, repair and replacement.
- Tyre pressure management and wear analysis.
- Safe use of tyre servicing tools and equipment.
