YouTube Strategist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. You will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from audience insights to post‑publish performance analysis, turning the channel into a high‑performing engine for brand awareness and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing for search and suggested video algorithms.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify trending topics and high‑value opportunities.
• Guide creative teams on titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and video pacing to maximize click‑through and watch time.
• Monitor key metrics (retention, CTR, watch time, subscriber growth) using YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows for consistent, high‑quality output.
• Collaborate with social media, paid ads and product marketing to integrate YouTube content across the marketing ecosystem.
• Identify and pursue monetization options such as sponsorships and merchandise integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices and community guidelines.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret YouTube Analytics data and drive strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefing and feedback.
