Amharic Linguistic Tester – Remote (Mac M‑Series Required)

About the role

Acclaro is looking for native Amharic speakers with strong English comprehension to join its global linguistic community as Freelance Linguistic Testers. This remote position focuses on reviewing AI‑generated and localized Amharic content for accuracy, cultural relevance, and UI consistency. No prior testing experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform linguistic QA by reviewing and refining Amharic content to ensure natural flow and cultural accuracy.
• Conduct software and UI testing, identifying layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in Amharic interfaces.
• Document and report linguistic and technical errors clearly in English using Acclaro’s testing guidelines.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in written and spoken Amharic.
• Professional‑level English comprehension and written communication skills.
• Ownership of a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M‑series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer).
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow detailed testing procedures.
