Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (Hawassa District)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development activities for the bank’s Interest Free Banking (IFB) segment within the Hawassa district. You will be responsible for attracting new customers, deepening existing relationships, and driving deposit and financing growth while promoting the bank’s full suite of products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development initiatives for the branch team.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to meet IFB deposit, financing and investment targets.
• Achieve overall business growth for the bank in the IFB market segment.
• Promote and sell additional bank products and services to enhance customer value.
• Maintain compliance with credit, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage networking and partnership opportunities to acquire and retain customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience, preferably in Islamic or interest‑free banking.
• Strong understanding of IFB operations, deposit and investment/financing products, and Shari’ah principles.
• Experience in modern sales and marketing practices within financial services.
• Extensive background in credit, risk management and compliance.
• Project management capability and proven leadership skills.
