Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB leads business development activities for the branch team in a designated region. The role focuses on attracting, deepening and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit, interest‑free financing and investment growth targets within the Islamic Finance Banking (IFB) market segment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control branch‑level business development initiatives.
• Drive acquisition and retention of IFB customers, meeting deposit and financing growth goals.
• Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s full range of products and services to enhance value‑add relationships.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of IFB products, Shari’ah principles and associated risks.
• Leverage networking skills to expand the customer base and strengthen existing relationships.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk‑management and regulatory requirements.
• Apply project‑management techniques to deliver initiatives on time and within scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Diploma or certificate in Islamic Banking or Finance is an advantage.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience, preferably in IFB or Islamic finance.
• Strong understanding of modern sales and marketing practices in financial services.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commitment to the bank’s mission, vision, values and corporate‑social‑responsibility initiatives.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Interest‑Free Banking operations and products.
• Familiarity with Shari’ah compliance and risk considerations.
• Project management competence.
