Business Strategist

About the role

Berry Advertising is seeking a Business Strategist to develop and execute product‑focused business strategies. The role will support business initiatives, supervise Junior Business Officers, and translate strategic objectives into measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing business strategies for product‑based initiatives.
• Supervise Junior Business Officers, guiding quality control, goal setting, project management and onboarding.
• Support business development activities such as pitches, bids, proposals and strategic partnerships.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance and contribute to profitability optimization.
• Ensure products and initiatives meet quality standards and strategic objectives.
• Analyze market trends, business performance and key metrics to inform data‑driven decisions.
• Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to the executive team.
• Assist the Chief Business Officer in identifying new opportunities and improving existing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in business development, strategy, project or account management.
• Strong understanding of the advertising, marketing and communications industry.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and develop team members.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, creative and results‑oriented environment.
