Compliance and Risk Management Coordinator

About the role

The Compliance and Risk Management Coordinator ensures the integrity of feedback from program staff and beneficiaries, while overseeing donor compliance, risk mitigation, internal controls, and fraud prevention across project operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complaints and feedback from field staff and beneficiaries to maintain data integrity.
• Coordinate risk, internal control, compliance, internal audit, and fraud activities within the project office.
• Oversee adherence to donor laws and regulations, implementing relevant policies and procedures.
• Align program and project activities with objectives and donor requirements, monitoring progress and addressing challenges.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports and meeting minutes.
• Monitor food aid resources in WFP refugee‑camp warehouses, ensuring proper storage, inventory, and compliance with donor standards.
• Conduct monthly warehouse inspections, physical inventories, and report findings to supervisors.
• Support field commodity teams in managing food aid resources according to commodity management guidelines.
• Ensure proper filing systems and accessibility of warehouse records.
• Verify end‑use checks, post‑distribution monitoring, and reconciliation of commodity transaction documents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within a humanitarian or donor‑funded environment.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations and ability to develop and enforce related policies.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with program managers, field teams, and senior leadership.
• Analytical mindset for identifying risks and proposing effective solutions.
