Customer Service Officer (Maker) – Addis Ababa District

About the role

The Customer Service Officer (Maker) will provide front‑office support at the branch in Addis Ababa District. The role involves handling account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, and responding to a wide range of customer enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash and non‑cash transactions, including payments and collections.
• Maintain customer accounts and update records accurately.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve requests.
• Handle all customer interactions at the branch, ensuring high service quality.
• Support the branch in risk‑aware practices and compliance with banking regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (e.g., Marketing, Management, Accounting, Economics, IT).
• Zero years of experience; fresh graduates from 2024/2025 only.
• Maximum age of 25 years for external applicants.
• Strong interpersonal and cross‑cultural skills, creativity, and action‑orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical thinking, and customer relationship management.
• Awareness of risk management practices and banking standards.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of the core banking system.
