Digital Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Digital Solutions Specialist will design, develop, test, and maintain a data‑consolidation platform that unifies information from multiple feeder systems into a single dashboard. You will work in an agile environment to deliver a real‑time multi‑sector monitoring tool that supports humanitarian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain connectors, APIs, ETL pipelines, and transformation logic for systems such as LMMS/ITS, CommCare, Kobo, mWater, MEQA, CPIMS+, and SMAP.
• Implement automated data‑quality checks, deduplication, error handling, and version‑control processes.
• Develop and operate a centralized real‑time dashboard covering nine sectors and 27 woredas, including custom D3.js visualisations and Power BI reports.
• Integrate AI‑supported anomaly detection and short‑term forecasting for pipeline status and coverage trends.
• Produce monthly maps, sector snapshots, and reporting products for management, donors, and government partners.
• Configure and support feeder‑system registration, deduplication, and distribution tracking at scale.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data integration, ETL development, and API design.
• Familiarity with agile development cycles, sprint planning, and continuous user feedback.
• Ability to work with sensitive data, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
