Digital Solutions Specialist

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Digital Solutions Specialist to design, develop and maintain a data‑consolidation platform that unifies information from multiple field systems and powers a real‑time monitoring dashboard covering health, education and other sectors across 27 woredas in Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain software that ingests data from LMMS/ITS, CommCare, Kobo, mWater, MEQA, CPIMS+, and SMAP into a unified data model.
• Build and manage connectors, APIs, scheduled ETL pipelines and transformation logic to map system outputs to consortium indicators.
• Implement automated data‑quality checks, deduplication, error handling and enforce PII protection.
• Develop and operate a centralized real‑time dashboard, creating custom visualisations with D3.js and supplementing Power BI reports.
• Integrate AI‑supported anomaly detection and short‑term forecasting for pipeline status and admission trends.
• Produce monthly maps, sector snapshots and gap analyses for internal and donor reporting.
• Provide technical configuration and support for feeder systems such as LMMS/ITS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software development following an agile, sprint‑based lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes and data‑quality assurance.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and incorporate continuous user feedback.
