Finance Intern (12‑month paid internship)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance & Planning team in Addis Ababa for a 12‑month paid internship. The role offers fresh graduates the chance to gain practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting and analysis within an international organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting, documentation, reconciliations and data validation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and variance analysis activities.
• Analyze financial data and prepare clear summaries for decision‑making.
• Help maintain compliance with internal controls, financial procedures and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
