Financial Analyst – Manufacturing

About the role

The Financial Analyst will join Raval Steel Manufacturing’s finance team in Addis Ababa, supporting management with data‑driven insights to improve performance across the steel production business. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on analysing financial statements, monitoring budgets and forecasts, and contributing to strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and interpret financial statements, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports.
• Monitor and update budgets, forecasts and variance analyses on a monthly and annual basis.
• Conduct cost and profitability analyses for products and operations.
• Support the monthly and year‑end closing processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Develop management reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA) a plus.
• Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and high integrity.
• Effective communication and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced setting.
