Graduate Advocacy & External Engagement Intern

About the role

This 12‑month Graduate Advocacy & External Engagement Internship offers young Christian graduates hands‑on experience supporting World Vision’s partnership with the African Union. You will contribute to policy analysis, research, and advocacy initiatives aimed at ensuring no child is left behind under the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on AU engagements, update event trackers and partner contact lists.
• Schedule meetings, send agendas, take minutes, and maintain organized records in Box.
• Draft quarterly engagement reports, policy briefs, and update statistics tables.
• Participate in monthly working groups (e.g., Regional Protection, GBV, IAWG‑Advocacy).
• Provide administrative support for budgets, logistics, external meetings, workshops, and conferences.
• Maintain a clean office environment, supervise cleaners, and ensure visitors are welcomed.
• Manage AULO social media platforms, post event updates, and track World Vision mentions on Twitter.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a passion for child advocacy and humanitarian work.
• Strong interest in policy analysis, research, and external engagement.
• Commitment to Christian values and World Vision’s mission.
