Junior IT Application Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Application Support Engineer to join ZamZam Bank’s technology team. The successful candidate will provide first‑line support for the bank’s core banking applications, ensuring smooth operation and quick resolution of incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support for the FlexCube core banking system, handling incidents, service requests and minor enhancements.
• Assist in parameterization, customization and origination tasks within FlexCube.
• Develop and maintain BI reports related to banking operations.
• Perform database queries, troubleshoot SQL issues and support data extraction.
• Collaborate with functional teams to resolve user problems and improve system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience, preferably with FlexCube or similar core banking platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FlexCube core banking modules (IBD, OBPM, LC, BC, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
• Linux operating system competency.
• Ability to develop and customize BI reports.
