Sales Director – Three‑Wheeler Business

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead the growth and commercial performance of our three‑wheel and two‑wheel business in Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Expand and manage dealer networks across Ethiopia.
• Identify new markets, territories, dealers, and business opportunities.
• Develop fleet, institutional, corporate, and bulk sales.
• Lead and develop the sales team, including targets and performance.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, inventory, and sales pipeline.
• Build relationships with banks and MFIs to support customer financing.
• Oversee collections, dealer credit, forecasting, and business reporting.
• Lead product launches, roadshows, and market activation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering or related field; MBA is an advantage.
• 10–15 years of sales experience, preferably in three‑wheelers, two‑wheelers, commercial vehicles, or distribution.
• At least 5 years in a senior sales leadership position.
• Strong experience in dealer development, market expansion, and fleet/institutional sales.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.
• Proficiency in English and Amharic.
• Willingness to travel across Ethiopia.
