About the role

As a Secondary History/Social Studies Teacher at Bingham Academy, you will lead a classroom that serves as a mission field, shaping students’ minds and hearts for Christ. You will deliver the Cambridge curriculum while integrating a Christian philosophy of education.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, student‑centered lessons aligned with the Cambridge History/Social Studies curriculum.
• Prepare schemes of work, resources and assessments that monitor academic progress and character development.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student attainment.
• Manage a safe, inclusive classroom using restorative, Christ‑centered practices.
• Communicate professionally with parents, write annual reports, and participate in ongoing professional development.
