Senior District Banking Operation Officer

About the role

The Senior District Banking Operation Officer will supervise operational activities across multiple branches within a district, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Sharia‑compliant standards. The role aims to boost branch performance, improve customer service, and embed operational excellence in line with ZamZam Bank’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate branch performance against KPIs and operational targets.
• Support branch managers to achieve efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, Sharia guidelines, and NBE regulations.
• Facilitate communication between branches and Head Office units.
• Assist in resolving operational, technical, and customer issues.
• Coordinate implementation of new procedures, directives, and initiatives.
• Compile and analyse operational reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and training support to branch staff.
• Escalate unresolved matters to the district manager and follow through to resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of banking or branch operations experience, including at least 2 years in an officer capacity.
• Strong understanding of NBE directives and Islamic banking operational standards.

• Knowledge of branch processes, procedures, and operational policies.
• Ability to track, evaluate, and report on operational KPIs.
• Clear, professional communication with stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving and issue‑resolution capabilities.
