Senior Officer, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – Africa, Europe & Middle East

About the role

The Senior Officer, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) is a subject‑matter expert who will lead the foundation’s DEI strategy across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Acting as a thought partner, you will provide guidance, advice, partnership and execution support to senior leadership, partners and functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate DEI initiatives across the three regions, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s overall strategy.
• Provide strategic guidance and practical support to senior leaders, partners and cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and maintain DEI governance, tools, resources and metrics to drive inclusive collaboration.
• Strengthen partnerships by delivering clear guidance and resources for investment makers and ensuring partners feel valued and supported.
• Promote shared expectations and continuous learning to sustain progress toward DEI goals.

Required profile

• Proven expertise as a DEI subject‑matter expert.
• Experience leading DEI programs across multiple geographic regions.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
