Senior Project and Infrastructure Finance Officer

About the role

The Senior Project and Infrastructure Finance Officer will drive the identification, appraisal, structuring, negotiation and monitoring of the Bank's project and infrastructure finance investments across debt, mezzanine, equity and other instruments. This senior position reports to senior management and contributes to the Bank’s strategic growth in trade and development finance.

Key responsibilities

• Source and assess new investment opportunities to meet departmental targets.
• Structure complex financing solutions combining debt and equity, considering client and country risk profiles.
• Lead transaction teams through origination, due diligence, internal approvals and execution.
• Screen project proposals, manage NDAs, and conduct preliminary analyses of sponsors, financials and development impact.
• Prepare term sheets, negotiate indicative terms and draft credit memoranda for committee review.
• Oversee on‑site due diligence missions and evaluate commercial and financial viability.
• Negotiate and finalize transaction and security documents, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate timely disbursements and monitor post‑investment performance.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented professional with extensive experience in project and infrastructure finance.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary transaction teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of client and country risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
