Site Fleet Controller

About the role

The Site Fleet Controller is responsible for overseeing all heavy‑duty and medium‑weight vehicles at the Kilinto site. The role ensures safe, efficient and compliant operation of the fleet, covering fuel, tire, maintenance and driver management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure fleet activities comply with laws, regulations, inspections and permits.
• Supervise and train drivers, monitor violations and maintain a violations dashboard.
• Validate driver licences and coordinate vehicle handovers.
• Plan and execute vehicle maintenance schedules, track repairs and manage garage activities.
• Inspect truck tires weekly, monitor retreading efficiency and maintain tire records.
• Manage fuel allocation, reconcile consumption per trip and report variances.
• Utilise GPS telematics for real‑time tracking and support daily order planning.
• Collect and process invoices from service providers and generate compliance reports.
• Analyse fleet performance data and propose safety and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet or transportation management.
• Ability to supervise drivers and enforce safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel and tire management.
• Experience preparing reports and analysing performance metrics.
• Good organisational skills and attention to regulatory compliance.
