Software QA Engineer

About the role

TOPPAN Security is seeking a full‑time Software QA Engineer with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience. You will own the quality assurance process from test planning through automation and release, ensuring both frontend and backend services meet functional, performance, and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define test cases, golden paths, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for frontend UI flows and backend APIs.
• Execute functional, load, and performance tests to validate system behavior under normal and peak traffic.
• Develop end‑to‑end business scenario tests that reflect real‑world usage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to drive resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date test documentation, including test plans and case libraries.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to assess risk and improve QA processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
• Proven ability to independently own QA strategy for a product or service.
• Strong documentation skills and experience creating clear test plans and golden paths.
• Ability to work autonomously and set the QA bar for a development team.
