About the role
The Specialist Buyer will manage the full order lifecycle, from sourcing to payment, ensuring optimal supplier selection and cost efficiency. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who can balance analytical tasks with strong negotiation skills.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a broad range of commodities.
- Review supplier proposals, negotiate pricing, and select the best vendors.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to drive cost‑effective solutions.
- Follow up on placed orders, verify deliveries, and approve payments.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements.
- Conduct commercial analysis to improve supplier processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
