Behavioral Health Coach (Remote, Ethiopia)

About the role

You will join Intellect’s telehealth platform as a freelance Behavioral Health Coach, delivering 30‑minute video sessions to support clients’ mental health and personal growth. The role offers flexible business hours and can be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching for Intellect’s clients.
• Focus on sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, work‑life balance, and similar concerns.
• Support clients in setting personal, career, or relationship goals.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team, suggesting improvements to the program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF coaches: minimum 200 coaching hours; Counsellors: minimum 300 clinical hours post‑graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programs, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is preferred.

• Motivational Interviewing.
