About the role
The Sales Account Manager will drive revenue growth for a Hilton hotel by analysing market trends, developing client relationships and creating targeted sales strategies. You will act as the primary liaison between corporate clients and the hotel, ensuring a high‑level guest experience and sustained business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate new business leads.
- Develop and nurture customer accounts within the region to increase market share across all revenue streams.
- Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.
- Design and execute creative local marketing initiatives, including social‑media campaigns.
- Prepare and manage contracts in line with current pricing and business conditions.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Attend sales events and represent the hotel as required.
- Produce accurate reports on appointments, calls, and leads for senior management.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales team, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Relevant academic background and degree‑level qualification.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
